When is The Winchesters returning in 2023?

The Winchesters has become a regular presence on The CW but when will it be back with new episodes on the network?

We’re ready for new episodes of The Winchesters. The fact that we can say that after the show just completed the first half of its debut season is a testament to just how darn joyous it has been. But it’s true nonetheless.

The Supernatural spinoff stars Meg Donnelly and Drake Rodger as Mary Campbell and John Winchester – the parents of the hit CW show’s Sam and Dean Winchester – and, yes, it’s a prequel, giving us an idea of what life was like for the two before they became the heads of the iconic hunting family.

We’re now halfway through the first season, and even though it’s not on-screen right now, there are more adventures to come.

The Winchesters return date 2023

The Winchesters will return to The CW in 2023 with brand new episodes airing in January. The show is currently on its midseason hiatus but it will be back on screens on Tuesday, January 24, at the new time of 9:00 p.m. ET.

It’s unknown why the network has moved the show to an hour later, but it could be down to the fact that it might be about to get a little darker. With John and Mary tracking the Akrida Queen, and the battle between humanity and the unearthly species imminent, don’t be surprised if The Winchesters gets a little spookier as it heads towards its season 1 finale.

The next episode is titled “Hang On To Your Life” and it will feature Smallville star Tom Welling as Samuel Campbell. It will also see John and Mary continue to get closer – something we have all been waiting to see.
