Is Harley Quinn season 4 coming in 2023?
Harley Quinn season 4 is happening but when? Can fans hope for new episodes in the new year?
Harley Quinn is easily one of the best animated shows on TV today. The DC animated series has been a huge hit for DC Universe and HBO Max, and whenever it returns for its fourth season, it will undoubtedly be a huge hit for whatever streamer HBO Max evolves into.
Yes, Harley Quinn has been renewed for a fourth season. The good news was announced shortly before the third season concluded, putting the minds of its devoted fans at ease. As all DC fans know right now, the fate of all projects are up in the air with the changes at Warner Bros. Discovery, DC Studios and even The CW, and that has resulted in a lot of cancellations. Thankfully, Harley Quinn is not one of them.
When can we expect Harley Quinn season 4 to premiere?
Harley Quinn season 4 release updates
Harley Quinn season 4 will premiere in 2023. While fans weren’t sure if it would be back in the new year at first, HBO Max subsequently confirmed it via a trailer for its upcoming slate in 2023.
As for when exactly that could be in 2023, it’s important to take into account that animation takes time, and that’s something that fans of this show are used to factoring in as they had to do that while waiting for season 3 to premiere. With that in mind, it’s possible that Harley and Poison Ivy will return in the second half of the year, with fall/winter being the most likely possibility.
The good news is that, even though we may have a bit of a wait on our hands for the fourth season, this won’t be the next time we see Harley and Ivy. HBO Max has commissioned a Valentine’s Day Special from the animated series, which will air sometime in February 2023.
There aren’t many details known about Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special but it goes without saying that fans are in for an unforgettable adventure. And it will undoubtedly be a welcome one, as the wait for season 4 continues.
