Harley Quinn season 4 is not coming to HBO Max in January 2023

Harley Quinn season 4 won’t debut in January 2023. However, there’s good news for fans of the show. That includes news on Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special.

If you’ve kept up with Harley Quinn on HBO Max, then you know that Harley is starting a new journey. Season 3 concluded with our star joining the Bat-Family.

If you’ve been craving more of Harley and the rest of the cast of the show, Tee Franklin is writing a comic book series that continues right after Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing jump off a roof and leave Harley by herself (check out Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: Legion of Bats!).

Unfortunately, if you’re looking for more than the comics, then you’ll be disappointed. Season 4 won’t debut in January of 2023. The HBO Max listings for the month of January was recently released, and Harley Quinn season 4 understandably wasn’t on there.

While that may not fill you with joy, there is good news. In the trailer below, HBO Max revealed that season 4 of Harley Quinn will premiere some time in 2023.

Harley Quinn season 4 release date predictions

Harley Quinn season 4 is going to be released in 2023. HBO Max confirmed this with the trailer they released at the end of 2022, previewing what is coming in the new year.

At the 2:24 mark of that trailer, you can see the announcement that season 4 of Harley Quinn is part of HBO Max’s plan in 2023. As for when we can expect it, we predict season 4 will be released sometime this summer at this earliest, maybe close to July. Season 3 started in July and ended in September. With the show’s success, releasing it around the same time of year makes sense. Especially since there’s a lot of inconsistency with Warner Bros right now. That said, don’t rule out a winter 2023 release either.

There’s more good news, Harlivy fans! In February, HBO Max will release the Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special. As exciting as that is, the title is very foreboding. Something in this episode could drive a wedge between Harley and Poison Ivy.

Despite Harley and Ivy working through their problems, there’s no guarantee that everything between them is peaches and cream. They have conflicting career goals. While they’re both willing to sacrifice for the other, it may not be enough. Good or bad, whatever happens between them in the special could become a major plot of season 4. Maybe we’ll get lucky and a teaser for the next season or Kite Man’s series after it’s over.
