5. Chris Pratt as The Ventriloquist

Chris Pratt is no stranger to taking on challenging roles, from his breakout role as the lovable Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation, to his turn as the charismatic and rugged Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. Imagine him playing a villain. The Ventriloquist would be an interesting choice for him to say the least. DC Comic fans known the villainous mastermind as a guy who uses a wooden dummy named Scarface to carry out his nefarious plans.

The Ventriloquist, also known as Arnold Wesker, is a fascinating character with a tragic backstory. Born with a twin brother who died at birth, Wesker developed a split personality, with the dominant persona being a shy, introverted man, and the alternate persona being a ruthless, criminal mastermind named Scarface. This duality would be a perfect fit for Pratt, who has proven time and time again that he can play both comedic and dramatic roles with ease.

In the comics, the Ventriloquist has a long history of battling Batman and other members of the Batman Family, making him a perfect addition to the DCU. Pratt’s ability to play both the comedic and dramatic elements of the character would be a refreshing take on the villain and would give fans a different side of Pratt as an actor. Additionally, Pratt’s physicality and ability to convey intensity would be well suited to the role of the Ventriloquist and his alter-ego Scarface, who is a physically imposing figure in the comics.

What’s even better is that the Ventriloquist is a character that hasn’t been explored much in live-action adaptations. It would be a great opportunity to showcase Pratt’s range as an actor and would add an interesting dynamic to the DC Universe. The Ventriloquist is a character that is often overlooked and underutilized, but with Pratt in the role, fans could see a new side of the character and a new side of Pratt as an actor.
