We all know Pratt has the charm and charisma to bring the cocky and confident Jordan to life, while also bringing a sense of humanity and vulnerability to the character. Pratt’s solid range as an actor would allow him to showcase the hero’s internal struggles and moral dilemmas. Not to mention, space battles would be a breeze. Pratt’s unique brand of humor and likability would make Hal Jordan a fan favorite.
If not Hal Jordan, Pratt would make a great Guy Gardner. With his roles in Guardians of the Galaxy and Parks and Recreation, Pratt has proven that he has the ability to play both the charming and the tough guy. Guy Gardner, as a Green Lantern, is a character that embodies both of these traits. He is a brash, hot-headed, and fiercely loyal individual, who is not afraid to speak his mind and stand up for what he believes in. Pratt’s ability to bring humor and heart to a role would perfectly capture the essence of Guy Gardner and make him a fan-favorite in the DCU.
