Invinicble season 2 will premiere in late 2023, and Amazon Prime Video have released the first  teaser for it.

The season finale of Invincible was released on Amazon Prime Video on April 29, 2021.

It’s been over a year and a half since we saw Nolan Grayson nearly beat his son Mark (Invincible) to death and fly off into space. Whether you’ve read the comic books or not, you probably want to see what happens next. It was too big of a cliffhanger to not be curious. Unfortunately, there’s been no news on the show since the season finale.

Well, that’s changed. The Invincible team made good on the promise they made back in October of 2011, revealing that the second season will arrive in late 2023. Yes, it’s a bit of a wait, but as always, the Invincible social media team ensured there would be something to keep fans happy, releasing a new teaser.

The trailer humorously explained why it has taken so long for the second season to come out, with Mark adding that Invincible season 2’s delay has been down to all of the extensive work that has gone into it.

As for what fans can expect from season 2? Well, they will likely see where Nolan went after he left Earth. Second, there are new villains like Angstrom Levy. A guy who could be a threat to Mark’s life for years. Of course more Viltrumites are coming too. And, if you thought Omni-Man was bad, you haven’t seen anything yet. He may be strong, but there are Viltrumites more powerful and deadlier than he is.

Of course, Atom Eve and Mark’s mother Debbie Grayson will be back. Both of them are too important not to be. Then there’s Amber. She’s already annoyed with Mark lying about his secret identity. Mark’s responsibilities as Invincible aren’t going to get easier. And while she may love him, she has a breaking point. Some things changed in the comics, but it’s doubtful their breakup will be one of the adjustments. Will that teased romance between Mark and Atom Eve come in season 2? Could that be the catalyst to Mark and Amber breaking up?
