Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are back and the trailer for the Valentine’s Day Special looks as unrestrained and sultry as you’d expect.

Late last year, HBO Max announced that Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and the rest of the gang from the animated series would return with a Valentine’s Day special called Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special.

After the show’s consistent success, it’s not shocking. In fact, this writer wouldn’t be surprised if there were more holiday specials going forward. Everyone loves Harley and people tend to enjoy holiday specials. It’s a win win.

If you’re a fan of the show and have been waiting for the special, there’s good news. A release date and trailer for the special has been released. The trailer gives viewers everything they’d expect. It’s as romantic, ridiculous, and rambunctious as you’d expect.

The trailer showed a lot of couples celebrating love. Zatanna and The Flash, Golden Glider and Kite Man, and even Bruce Wayne gets a present from Catwoman. Of course, Harley goes all out for Poison Ivy. It’s to be expected. Plus, if you’ve been reading the comic book series by Tee Franklin, then you know that Harley and Ivy have secrets. This may lead to Harley overcompensating.

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy having problems as a couple isn’t guaranteed. There’s still one issue left of Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: Legion of Bats!. By the time the special comes out, everything could be resolved. One thing for certain is Harley’s skills as a lover sets a standard that may not be matched. She makes Ivy feel so good in their intimate moment that it ends up affecting all of Gotham. A feat that upsets Ivy, but then realizes she can’t be mad at Harley for being so good at what she does that people start making love in the street.

The Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special will be released on February 9 on HBO Max.

Stay tuned to Bam Smack Pow for an official release time for the special’s release.
