7.  Pom Klementieff as Lady Shiva

Kicking off the list is Pom Klementieff as Lady Shiva. For one, the idea of Shiva in the DCU would be a dream come true for fans of the Birds of Prey comics. Lady Shiva is one of the most deadly and skilled martial artists in the DC universe and Klementieff, known for her role as Mantis in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, has already proven her skills in action and fighting scenes. This would be the role to take her to the next level. And it’s a realistic possibility.

The introduction of Cassandra Cain in the recent Birds of Prey film has already set up the existence of Lady Shiva in the DCU. In the comics, Cain is trained by Lady Shiva to become the ultimate assassin, and their relationship is a complex and fascinating one.

Klementieff’s performance as Mantis has already shown her range as an actress, and she would bring a depth and complexity to the role of Lady Shiva that would make her a standout character in the DCU. Fans have already seen her kick butt in Guardians of the Galaxy, but as Lady Shiva, she would get to showcase her martial arts skills and show us a different side of her acting abilities.

James Gunn’s unique vision and style as a filmmaker would be a perfect fit for a Lady Shiva film. He has a knack for blending humor with intense action and drama, and Pom Klementieff as Lady Shiva would be a great fit for that.
