3. Dave Bautista as Lobo

You were probably expecting to see Dave Bautista as Bane. Sure, he’d be great as Bane, but Bautista deserves to be a character who could star in his own movie or series.

For those unfamiliar, Lobo is a powerful and ruthless alien bounty hunter, also known as the Main Man. He first appeared in 1983’s Omega Men #3 and quickly became a fan-favorite due to his brutal tactics and irreverent sense of humor.

Bautista, who played Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, has been vocal about his desire to play Lobo in the past. With James Gunn now at the helm of DC Films, fans have been eagerly speculating about which characters the director may bring to the big screen. And with Bautista and Gunn having a history of working together on the Guardians of the Galaxy series, it seems like the perfect opportunity for the actor to finally take on the role of Lobo.

But what makes Bautista the perfect choice for the character? For starters, he has the look and the voice. More importantly, the actor has proven that he can handle both the physical demands and the comedic elements of a role. His portrayal of Drax was a highlight of the Guardians of the Galaxy series. There’s no doubt he’ll bring a sense of levity to the otherwise grim Fast and Furious franchise, too.

Bautista has the necessary intensity to bring Lobo to life on the big screen. The Main Man is a ruthless killer, but he also has a humorous and comped side that will once again challenge the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
