This Wednesday, The Flash returns to The CW to begin its final chapter. The long-running Arrowverse show will commence its ninth season with a season premiere that will surely be one to remember.
When the show’s eighth season concluded in June, we knew the veteran series would be back for season 9 (it had been renewed in March 2022), but it hadn’t yet been revealed whether season 9 would be its last. That news came in August (after months of rumors about the show’s fate) when it was announced that it would end with a shortened final season.
The time for that shortened final season is here, as Barry Allen and his wife Iris West-Allen attempt to move on from the Time Sickness era and finally start their happy ever after. However, metas never sleep in Central City, and some new threats force the Scarlet Speedster to take to the streets once again to stop them.
With just 13 episodes to go, The Flash fans are not ready for their beloved superhero show to bow out. Thankfully, we have this final season to enjoy first. And here’s how you can make sure you watch it!
