The Last of Us episode 5 streams on HBO Max a few nights early due to the Super Bowl. Here’s when you can expect it in your time zone.

We’re now at the halfway point of The Last of Us‘ debut run. Or at least we will be when we’re halfway through this week’s episode (which is the fifth episode of the first season). And we don’t have too much longer to wait for that, either.

The HBO and HBO Max series has been dominating the television landscape since its premiere last month, with each episode increasing its viewership over the one that came before it. This resulted in an early second-season renewal for the juggernaut, which has just gone from strength-to-strength since it made that monumental premiere.

It looked like HBO was willing to even put it up against the Super Bowl, which airs this Sunday night, but in a last-minute change to the schedule, The Last of Us episode 5 will now be made available to stream early on Friday, both via HBO Max and HBO on-demand.

You can still watch it in its normal slot on Sunday night, but if you’re looking to stream it early, here’s when it will arrive on HBO Max in your region.

The Last of Us episode 5 will be available on both HBO Max and HBO On Demand on Friday, February 10, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, and 8:00 p.m. CT. For those watching it on HBO, it will still air on Sunday.
