Will The Last of Us episode 6 release on HBO Max tonight? (February 17, 2023)
The Last of Us episode 6 is probably the most sought-after TV episode of the week. Can we expect a new installment tonight?
It feels like it’s just a matter of time before everyone joins The Last of Us hype train. The show has quickly become the most popular TV show on the planet right now, which is an incredible feat since it debuted just one month ago. And with the end of its first season in sight, it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
That hype train is earned, too. The Last of Us has just gone from strength-to-strength since premiering, producing quality television that has truly gripped viewers (all while endearing them to the characters). It gripped them so much, that they were willing to flock to see it on a different night when it streamed on HBO Max and HBO On Demand early last week.
Will it do it again this week?
Does The Last of Us episode 6 stream on HBO Max tonight?
Unfortunately, The Last of Us won’t be streaming a new episode on HBO Max or HBO On Demand this Friday. The reason for its early streaming release last week was the Super Bowl coverage that aired on Fox on Sunday, so arrangements were made to allow HBO Max subscribers and HBO On Demand users to enjoy the episode early if they wished – that way fans wouldn’t have to choose between it and the Super Bowl on Sunday night.
When does The Last of Us episode 6 come out on HBO Max?
The Last of Us episode 6, titled “Kin“, will stream on HBO Max and HBO On Demand on Sunday, February 19 2023, at the same time that it will air on HBO (9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT, and 8:00 p.m. CT).
With the Super Bowl having come and gone, HBO won’t have to be worried about clashing with any major sporting events on Sunday night anymore, and thus The Last of Us can once again have both its linear and streaming premieres at the same time going forward.
