When is The Last of Us episode 7 coming out? What can you expect in that episode?

The most recent episode of The Last of Us was all about Joel and Ellie meeting Tommy in Jackson, Wyoming. While there, Joel opened up to his brother about everything he had been through and why he still had a mission to complete. Yes, he’s still on a mission to get Ellie to a Firefly hospital where the doctors can cure the disease. However, if this writer is correct, things will likely take some unexpected twists and turns along the way. Episode 7 will likely be the beginning of the end.

By the beginning of the end, this writer means that things are going to progress quickly to the season finale and a lot of people will get hurt and/or killed along the way. The question is: Will Joel or Ellie make it out of the first season alive?

In the coming weeks, you will probably see the most deplorable characters in The Last of Us. F.E.D.R.A. (Federal Disaster Response Agency) are awful, but the people coming up are worse. This writer won’t spoil what makes them the worst people in the series, but if they are anything like their video game counterparts, just know that they are and you’ll see why in the last couple of episodes of the season.

The Last of Us season 1, episode 7 premieres on Sunday, February 26, at 9 pm ET, 8 pm CT, and 6 pm PT. As the show has resumed its normal release patter of airing on HBO at the same time that it streams on HBO Max and HBO On Demand, it will be available to watch and stream at the same time.

While other HBO Max shows have changed their release patterns, such as Titans and Doom Patrol which both took midseason breaks while streaming their final seasons, The Last of Us will continue on through, releasing new episodes until its season finale airs in March.
