The Last of Us episode 6 runtime: How long is episode 6?
The Last of Us episode 6 airs this weekend on HBO. If you’re planning on checking it out, here’s how long it will be.
If you watched The Last of Us early on HBO Max last week, the wait for episode 5 probably felt a lot longer than you hoped it would. The early release of the previous installment meant that fans could stream it on Friday while it still aired in its typical Sunday night slot on HBO, also meaning that there would be a nine-day wait for those who did that.
But that wait is over, as the sixth episode premieres on both HBO and HBO Max tonight. It’s set to be another big one, but that’s not really surprising given that the show hasn’t pulled any punches since it began.
If you’re planning on tuning into episode 6 tonight, here’s how long you can expect it to be.
How long is The Last of Us episode 6?
The Last of Us episode 6 has a runtime of one hour and one minute (or 61 minutes). That’s essentially the same runtime as last week’s episode, and it could suggest that the show has found something of a standard length for its episodes.
If you’ve been watching the show from the start, you’ll know that its episode lengths have been rather inconsistent. The first and third episodes were like mini-movies, running for 80-85 minutes, while the second and fourth episodes were much shorter than that, coming in around 50 minutes. Has the show found its standard runtime in between those two extremes with 61 minutes?
The sixth episode is titled “Kin” and, based on the official promo images for it, Joel and Ellie will reach their destination, with the former finally being able to reunite with his brother Tommy.
