Ever since Mando and Grogu reached for one another in the premiere episode of The Mandalorian, audiences have been on-board with this story more than anyone could have imagined. The bond between the two has won over the hearts and minds of viewers, and so has the character we all love to call Baby Yoda.
It’s been over two years since we last caught up with the pair on their own show. We say “their own show” because they did make a guest appearance on The Book of Boba Fett (and single-handedly stole the show in the process) in a subplot that actually furthered The Mandalorian‘s primary narrative.
But it’s time to welcome them back to the forefront of the Star Wars story, because The Mandalorian season 3 is finally set to premiere on Disney Plus this week, ending that incredibly long wait for new episodes. We don’t know what the pair will get up to this season, but we do know that we will once again be happy to go along for the ride.
