Is Gina Carano in The Mandalorian season 3?
By Cody Schultz
Gina Carano played a key role across the first two seasons of The Mandalorian in the role of Cara Dune, but will she appear in the show’s third season?
Across the first two seasons of The Mandalorian, Cara Dune was a prominent supporting character making waves from the moment she was first introduced in the fourth episode of season 1.
Cara was a former shock trooper for the Rebel Alliance and a skilled fighter with a strong sense of loyalty and a desire to protect those who cannot defend themselves. When we first met her, she teamed up with the Mandalorian to take down a group of raiders. Following the encounter, she became an integral part of the Mandalorian’s team, helping him protect Grogu and fight against the remnants of the Galactic Empire.
Cara’s combat skills, combined with her strategic thinking and loyalty, made her an invaluable ally to the Mandalorian and his companions. Despite her rough exterior, she had a soft spot for the underdog and was always willing to put her life on the line to protect them.
We last saw the character in the season 2 finale, she had helped Mando bring down Moth Gideon but her future remains unwritten with the thought being she’d return in season 3.
