Invincible season 2 is not coming to Amazon Prime Video in March 2023
By Mark Lynch
Invincible season 2 isn’t premiering on Amazon Prime Video this month, but revisiting the show could help while we wait.
It’s been over a month since the first teaser trailer for Invincible’s sophomore season was released. As exciting as it was, fans didn’t learn too much. The animation looked even better, but who’s to say it looks like that during the second season? Also, Mark Grayson, a.k.a. Invincible, revealed that season 2 was coming this year, resulting in fan speculation about when exactly the show would return. No one knows for sure.
One thing for certain is Invincible is not coming to Amazon Prime Video in March of 2023. The streamer recently announced its listings for the month and the show is not among them.
However, that doesn’t mean you have to go without the show.
Invincible season 2 release updates
Invincible season 2 is currently expected to release in late 2023. This was confirmed during the teaser trailer released earlier this year. Does that mean September or the last week of December? We don’t know, but we do know we’re excited to revisit the world of the show and catch up with Mark and his friends.
By that point, it will have been almost three years since the series premiere of Invincible. If you watched the show weekly or binged it after it debuted, there’s a chance you’ve forgotten what happened. Of course you’ll remember the major things. For example, Mark’s father Nolan (Omni-Man) fighting Mark. That was one of the most memorable moments in comic book TV history. However, what about the other moments?
There will be intricate things that we all may have missed the first time around. Even if we didn’t, they’re probably forgotten. Now that there’s a release window, this is the time to get back into the show. Giving it a another watch will help us (the fans) reacquaint ourselves with the world of the series.
A refresher could help prepare us for the new season. You’ll see little things like when Amber officially knew that her boyfriend was Invincible. There are other things to look into, too. Maybe you’ll gain a new appreciation for certain characters. Was Rex Splode as annoying as we originally thought? Are Dupli-Kate’s powers cooler than we remember? Was Omni-Man right? These are only a few things that you may wonder as you rewatch the show. It’s not as if we don’t have time before Invincible season 2 streams on Amazon Prime Video or another trailer/teaser is released.
