According to AI, the actor best suited to play the new Batman in DC’s upcoming Batman: The Bold and the Brave is actually a current Marvel star!

Batman is one of the most iconic comic characters to ever grace the pages of the comics, so it’s no surprise that he’s also become one of the most popular superheroes on the big screen as well. Across the last several decades, there have been many actors who have suited up to play the Dark Knight. Most recently, Robert Pattinson took on the role in Matt Reeves’ 2022 The Batman.

Pattinson’s Batman has quickly become a favorite among fans and he’ll continue to play the Dark Knight in Reeves’ franchise. However, it’s been confirmed that Reeves’ Batman universe will not be set within the new shared universe currently being mapped out by DC Studios’ co-chairman and CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran — with those films instead being set in what DC is calling its Elseworlds franchise.

With Pattinson’s Batman leading the Elseworlds franchise, DC is looking to bring in a new Batman for the new shared universe Gunn and Safran are crafting. This means one of the most iconic roles will once again be up for grabs with a new actor soon getting the chance to play the Dark Knight on the big screen.

There are a lot of actors fans believe should play the new Batman when the time finally comes to introduce the new iteration of the iconic DC hero with the DC Studios relaunch. But who is the best actor for the job in the eyes of AI? That’s the question we decided to pose in asking AI who it believes would be the best actor to take on the role of the Dark Knight.

Who should play the new Batman (According to AI)

Knowing a new Batman will soon be coming to the big screen via the upcoming Batman: The Bold and the Brave film from the new DC Studios, we decided to ask AI who would be the best actor to play Batman next. In hopes of casting a wide net, we did not set too many restrictions for our inquiry. Our one and only stipulation was this should be an actor who has never played the character before on the big screen since it seems DC will be looking to bring in a new Batman actor.

So who does AI believe would be the best selection to play the Dark Knight next? According to ChatGPT, Oscar Issac should play the next Batman, and here’s why:

"There are many actors who could potentially play the dual roles of Batman and Bruce Wayne, but one who comes to mind is Oscar Isaac.Isaac is a versatile actor who has demonstrated his ability to play complex and intense characters, as well as more lighthearted and charming ones. He has also proven himself capable of handling action sequences, having appeared in films such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and X-Men: Apocalypse. As Batman, Isaac would bring a brooding intensity to the role, while also conveying the character’s intelligence and strategic mind. As Bruce Wayne, he could play up the billionaire playboy persona, while also showing the character’s inner conflict and emotional depth.Overall, I think Oscar Isaac would be an excellent choice to take on the iconic roles of Batman and Bruce Wayne."

We’re not going to lie, we have to admit AI might be onto something because there is no denying Oscar Issac would be an amazing Batman. Unfortunately, it seems highly unlikely he’d take on the character given his current connection to Marvel Studios via the role of Moon Knight — a character that is expected to return and play a bigger role in the MCU’s upcoming slate.

In fact, we might argue that Isaac’s role in Moon Knight proved exactly why he’d actually be the perfect Batman.

Moon Knight is often compared to Batman, as both characters share a number of similarities. Both are individuals who take the law into their own hands with a strong sense of justice, are willing to use force to bring criminals to justice, and have experienced loss in their lives that has driven them to become crime fighters. They’re also two incredibly complicated characters who struggle with their often conflicting personalities (Bruce with his Batman personal, and Marc with his Dissociative Identity Disorder created personas of Steven Grant and Jake Lockley).

Issac proved in Moon Knight that he is more than capable of taking on a character with many layers and different facets of their personality, so it makes sense that AI would see him as a perfect pick for the character. And while it’s likely that we’d never get to see him play Batman, we can’t argue with AI’s selection as Oscar Issac would definitely be an amazing Dark Knight!
