This episode is a special one of The Flash season 9 as it features a major Arrowverse character. Nicole Maines will reprise her Supergirl role as Nia Nal, a.k.a. Dreamer, in a special adventure that will see her team up with Iris West-Allen. This marks Dreamer’s first appearance on-screen since Supergirl concluded with its heartfelt series finale in 2021.
This episode will see Iris and Nia fall into a dreamscape where they see multiple different ways their lives could have played out. It will no doubt be a treat for Flash fans to see an Iris-focused episode, a treat for Supergirl fans to see Nia back, and a treat for Arrowverse fans as they prepare for the end of The CW’s shared universe of superheroes.
