7 actors who could replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the MCU

It’s impossible to think of any actor other than Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine, but these six actors could be perfect picks when the time comes for the character to enter the MCU.
When it comes to superhero performances, there are few that manage to hold a candle to Hugh Jackman’s iconic performance as Wolverine. Jackman perfectly embodied the character from the moment he first suited up in the iconic role way back in 2000’s X-Men, and with each additional appearance in the role in the films that followed he only managed to further cement his status as one of the greats from the genre.
Via Deadpool 3, fans will finally get the chance to see Jackman’s Wolverine officially join the MCU which is a moment fans truly never thought would happen before Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox. It’s sure to be an unforgettable moment for Marvel fans and go down as one of the most iconic moments in the MCU’s history; however, it seems highly unlikely Jackman will end up being the prime Wolverine of the MCU.
There are already reports that Jackman will be playing variants of the character, which hints Marvel will look to cast a new Wolverine when the time comes for the X-Men to make their official debut within the prime universe of the MCU.
As impossible as it is to think of another actor playing the iconic role after Jackman’s iconic performance, it’s only a matter of time before Marvel Studios recast the role. When that time comes, we’ve got a few suggestions for who Marvel should consider for the part.
