The Fantastic Four will soon be coming to the MCU and AI has a few thoughts on who should play the four core members of the iconic Marvel team.

The Fantastic Four are one of Marvel Comics’ most beloved superhero teams, and fans have been eagerly anticipating their arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The news that Marvel Studios will be rebooting the franchise and integrating it into their cinematic universe has sent excitement levels soaring.

The Fantastic Four’s arrival in the MCU opens up a world of narrative opportunities. The team’s special abilities enable them to interact with many Marvel characters and go to various cosmological locations.

There’s so much speculation about who will be cast as the team’s iconic members, including Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing. But with Marvel’s track record of successful casting choices, fans can rest assured that the MCU’s Fantastic Four will be fantastic indeed.

AI wants John Krasinski and Emily Blunt in the Fantastic Four movie too

As speculation continues to swirl regarding who would be the best actors to take on the iconic roles of the Fantastic Four’s key members, we decided to ask AI to weigh in on the debate. In turning to ChatGPT’s AI tool, we asked AI to select the four actors who would be best suited to play the key members of the Fantastic Four team. While it’s made some surprising picks in the past, it hit the nose on the head when casting the team’s key members:

"Reed Richards / Mr. Fantastic – John Krasinski. Krasinski has been a fan-favorite choice for this role for years, and I think he would bring the perfect blend of intelligence, charm, and leadership that the character requires.Sue Storm / Invisible Woman – Emily Blunt. Blunt is Krasinski’s real-life wife and has also been a popular choice for this role. She has the acting chops to portray the emotional depth and strength that Sue requires, while also being able to handle the action and special effects.Johnny Storm / Human Torch – Zac Efron. Efron has shown his comedic and dramatic range in recent years, and I think he would bring the necessary charisma and energy to the role of Johnny. Plus, he has the looks to pull off the character’s cocky and confident personality.Ben Grimm / The Thing – David Harbour. Harbour has experience playing a gruff and lovable character in “Stranger Things,” and I think he could bring that same quality to Ben Grimm. He would also be able to portray the vulnerability and sadness that comes with being transformed into a rock monster."

It’s honestly not shocking at all that like Marvel fans, AI also wants to see the pair of John Krasinski and Emily Blunt suiting up alongside one another as Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman. Even before Krasinski suited up as Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fans had been longing to see him and Blunt suit up and that desire has only gotten stronger after audiences saw Krasinski suit up.

There has also long been a desire from fans to see Zac Efron playing the Human Torch… or really just joining any superhero franchise. Given Efron’s build, it’s honestly quite surprising he hasn’t suited up as a superhero just yet be it in a Marvel or DC film and it’s high time that changes. He’d be a perfect choice for the Human Torch.

The one selection from AI that we have to say we hadn’t considered at all was David Harbour in the role of Ben Grimm aka The Thing. Sure Harbour is currently attached to The Thunderbolts film, but we’ve seen other actors take on multiple roles in the MCU so who’s to say he shouldn’t be considered for the part — as he’d definitely bring the mix of heart and humor that comes with the the character.
