Moff Gideon is alive! One of the most dangerous and devious beings in the galaxy is working to bring the Empire back to its former glory in the Star Wars series. For now, it’s in secret, but that just makes them even more dangerous. If the heroes of the galaxy knew what was going on, an attempt to stop them could be made. For now, their plans for return are unknown. Even worse, Moff Gideon is setting his sights on the Mandalorians.
Meanwhile, after multiple Mandalorians make their way to Nevarro, Bo-Katan prepares a team of both sects of Mandalorians to retake their former homeworld. When they arrived, the team came across her former followers who survived the Purge of Mandalore. A story that Din Djarin didn’t know about. After hearing this, Din pledges his services to her saying, “Your song is not yet written. I will serve you until it is.”
As predicted, the Mandolorians are assaulted by Moff Gideon’s troops. What no one could have expected was for Moff Gideon to have set up shop on their home planet and for Din to be captured at the end of the episode.
The season 3 finale of The Mandalorian is next. So far, each of the seasons has had a happy (ish) ending. This writer expects the same in the season 3 finale. However, viewers should expect a cliffhanger. The Mandalorian story will affect the entire galaxy. Don’t be shocked if their story continues in future Star Wars projects on Disney Plus. Maybe even the comics.
