When it comes to comic book adaptations, most of the main components of the Marvel Universe like the X-Men, Avengers, and so on have had a rather successful transition to the silver screen. All but one: The Fantastic Four.

With every version that has hit theaters – or that they have tried to bury – there is always something wrong. Always missing the mark in some crucial way that makes the entire film kind of fall apart in one way or another.

Now that Marvel has the First Family back in their hands, maybe they will be able to rectify what has been torn asunder for so long. Things like the character that we are going to be talking about today, Mr. Fantastic.

Reed Richards is a vital piece of the Fantastic Four. Not just because of his intelligence but because deep down he has a big heart. A lot of people forget that The Fantastic Four is a fun, adventure book where the characters are supposed to be accessible. They are just another family. The kicker is they were blasted by cosmic rays.
