Andrew Garfield might have only worn the Spider-Man suit for a little time, but he still made multiple iconic appearances as the web-slinger. But which one was the best?

Spider-Man might be one of the most popular superheroes ever created. Peter Parker’s day-to-day problems can be extremely relatable for many people. That, coupled with the exhilarating adventures of his superhero persona, positions him as a character that almost everybody knows. Some of us look up to him and his sense of responsibility. Others just want to have his amazing powers. However, we all like to see how he overcomes every odd when facing dangerous threats. Because of this, it comes as no surprise that he has been the protagonist of multiple comic books, animated series, and, of course, movies.

Spider-Man first appeared on the big screen back in 2002 and he’s been interpreted by three different actors ever since in live-action projects. Unfortunately, only Andrew Garfield has fallen short of a trilogy. His portrayal of the character has been the most divisive out of them all. While some of us believe he was superb as the wall-crawler, others think he’s nothing like his comic book counterpart. This mixed reception was one of the reasons the British actor only had two Marvel films of his own instead of three. However, even with all the negatives, his story didn’t end on a low note. After all, he got the opportunity to wear the mask once again for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Many say Andrew Garfield found redemption as the web-slinger in his latest big-screen appearance. Some went as far as to push for his trilogy of movies to be finished. Nevertheless, it’s still unclear if we’re ever going to see him as the iconic superhero again. There’s a perfect opportunity for the actor to show up as a cameo in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Furthermore, if rumors are to be believed, there’s a chance he’ll be in Avengers: Secret Wars. But while we figure out if a comeback is indeed happening or not, we need to take a look at his previous appearances as the wall-crawler.

As of now, Andrew Garfield has adopted the superhero persona in 3 different projects. But which one of them is the very best? And what can be said for the worst? Well, it’s time to figure out as we dive into the ranking of the actor’s Marvel movies.
