1. Isabela Merced

Isabela Merced, formerly known as Isabela Moner, has made a name for herself as a talented young actress with a bright future and a solid resume. She’s played everything from tough big sister in Instant Family to a comedic adoring character in Dora and the Lost City of Gold, to playing the co-lead in Transformers: The Last Knight.

What better role for her to take on than that of Zatanna, the enchanting and powerful magician from the DC Universe?

If they wanted to go with a young Zatanna, Everyday Magic by Paul Dini and Rick Mays would make a great movie for Isabela Merced. The story follows a teenage Zatanna as she navigates high school while also learning to control her magical abilities. As she struggles to balance her everyday life with her magical responsibilities, she also faces off against a group of demonic creatures who threaten her school and the students in it. With the help of her father, the legendary magician Zatara, and her best friend, Misty Kilgore, Zatanna must save the day and learn to embrace her magical heritage.

The story combines the relatable struggles of a young girl in high school with the excitement and adventure of magical battles against otherworldly creatures. It also explores the complex relationship between Zatanna and her father, adding depth to her character and setting up potential storylines for future movies.

But what makes Merced a particularly intriguing choice for Zatanna is her youthful energy and potential for growth. If the DCU wanted to focus on the character’s early years, Merced would be the perfect fit. She has already shown a range of emotions and a natural charisma on screen, which would be vital for capturing the essence of the charismatic Zatanna.
