Noah Centineo

When it comes to young actors who have been steadily making a name for themselves, you have to mention Noah Centineo. While he has been a bit of a Netflix rom-com king, he has also proven that he can be in a superhero movie and in an action role. And although he has already been seen in a DC property thanks to his role in the Black Adam movie, that doesn’t mean he couldn’t be a part of a Swamp Thing reboot. (In fact, we could look to his turn as Atom Smasher as proof that he can handle a superhero role with style.)

Every time Centineo appears on our screens he brings a strong presence that perfectly aligns with what we would want to see from an actor giving life to Alec Holland and the Swamp Thing. Not only do we believe that he could be a scientist, but we also think he has what it takes to give life to a non-human hero.

Something we haven’t touched on yet is that as the Swamp Thing, Alec Holland’s character is broad in the shoulders and that is definitely something we see with Noah Centineo. He has the body type to step into this role completely. And of course, his voice stands out as well, which is a good thing, because we want to recognize the voice behind the plants.

There are a lot of reasons why Centineo could be a perfect fit in the new DC Universe. But it is his ability to take on a wide range of characters, from romantic to action roles that have us thinking that he could easily transform into an elemental-based hero with a bit of a tortured backstory.
