Jensen Ackles

This might be a bit controversial, but Jensen Ackles would be a great Green Lantern. And considering we have seen him with superpowers thanks to his role on The Boys, we know he can step into a super-suit with style and poise.

However, the real reason that we think Ackles could step into the role of the Green Lantern is because of what he brought to the table as Dean on Supernatural. We could easily see him stepping into the role of Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern. Not only would he be a great aircraft pilot, but as a hero we believe he could lead a squad of like-minded heroes saving worlds and stopping bad guys.

Thanks to Supernatural, we know that he can take out bad guys, he knows how to handle impossible situations without losing his sense of humor, and he can bring people together as a leader. And not only that, but we know he can handle being a character that is well-rounded in terms of responsibilities, humor, and even handling failure.

The fact that he can also bring humor to the role is an added bonus because if there is one thing we have learned about DC movies, it’s that there needs to be a balance between the serious moments, the darkness, and the humor. Jensen Ackles can easily bring snark, sass, and sarcasm to any role, and if he were to bring the character of Hal Jordan to life in the DC Universe, then he would have all the elements needed for a successful hero.
