Harley Quinn season 4 is not coming to Max in June 2023

Harley Quinn season 4 isn’t arriving to HBO Max this coming month, but fans should expect news on season 4 to come out soon.

There hasn’t been a lot of news on when season 4 of Harley Quinn will debut. However, if you’re a fan of the show, you haven’t been left without content. Besides the fantastic Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special, there was a comic book series. Tee Franklin’s Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: Legion of Bats! showed Ivy and Harley almost ruining their relationship keeping secrets. Thankfully, they stayed together. Granted, it took Harley almost dying for that to happen.

Speaking of Harley in comic books, Earth Prime’s Harley met some of her multiverse counterparts in her solo series by Stephanie Phillips. One of them looked like her counterpart from the HBO Max animated series. If this is the case, it’s possible that Harley could mention it in season 4. Harley breaks the fourth wall enough and she’d love to brag about meeting more versions of herself. Especially the one that was a mermaid. Unfortunately, if that does happen, it won’t happen this coming month.

HBO Max, which is now evolving into Max, has released its schedule for June 2023 and Harley Quinn season 4 is not listed among the titles.

Is Harley Quinn season 4 coming out in 2023?

Right now, it seems that like Harley Quinn season 4 is still set to debut this year. Back in January, HBO Max debuted a trailer showing all of the shows that would be released in 2023 and the next season of Harley Quinn was among them. Warner Bros. has yet to give a specific date. Originally, we predicted that the show could return in the latter parts of the summer but the WGA writer’s strike could stop that from happening.

The writers are petitioning over residuals from streaming services and the possible use of A.I taking jobs from the creators. If Harley Quinn season 4 hasn’t been completed, its release could be affected. Even if it was completed, their work might not be done. Rewrites happen all the time. If Harley Quinn needs rewrites, fans may have to wait longer for the season to come out.
