2. Chamber/Jonothan Evan Starsmore – Played by Louis Partridge

Another psionic energy-based mutant, Chamber, a London native, can manifest an incredible source of psionic energy from within his chest. Unfortunately, the first time his powers came to be left, his then-girlfriend Gayle Edgerton was disabled from the blast and leaving Jonothon with a destroyed chest and lower part of his face.

This horrible result from his power made Chamber only able to communicate telepathically. He doesn’t need to breathe, eat or drink since he is now a being of pure psionic energy using his body as a shell or host. Louis Partridge comes to mind for playing this moody sullen teen mutant.

After his portrayal in both Enola Holmes films and the mini-series Pistol, Partridge would portray Chamber’s origin with the right amount of teen angst, and it would be interesting to see him delve deeper into physical acting and voice-over work when he would use telepathy to communicate.

3. Husk/Paige Guthrie – Played by Elle Fanning

Sister to fellow mutant Cannonball (seen in Fox’s The New Mutants), Paige Guthrie/Husk is a mutant who can shed her skin and metamorphose into a different composition altogether. She has been known to become various materials, including stone and acid. Husk is also able to heal herself with this power.

Elle Fanning, a remarkable young actress, would be a great Husk. Elle does not box herself into one type of role. She has done indie work and hit blockbuster films and has proved herself a seasoned actor at just 23. She can bring the southern charm to Husk and deliver a memorable performance.
