12. Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989)

Halloween has been one of the most iconic slasher franchises in the horror genre. While there have been many entries in the series, some movies have certainly stood out more than others, and not always in a good way. One such example is Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.

Although it may not be considered one of the best films in the franchise to many, it still somehow holds a special place in the hearts of many fans of the franchise. Released in 1989, this movie featured the infamous Michael Myers going on a rampage once again. While it may not have been as well-received as some of the earlier entries, it still managed to deliver the chills and thrills that fans of the franchise crave. For those who grew up with the series Halloween 5 is a nostalgic trip down memory lane. For those working through the films binge style? Well, best of luck trying to get through this one.

11. Halloween II (2009)

Another entry in the series that has divided fans is Halloween II. The film is directed by Rob Zombie, who has a dedicated fan base that loves his unique style of horror and often praises him for his creative direction, and this movie was no exception.

While the film didn’t quite capture the magic of his previous Halloween reboot, it certainly delivered a gory and off-the-wall version of the franchise that was both shocking and entertaining.

The movie features some truly gruesome and visceral scenes that will leave you squirming in your seat. However, while it may be a great horror movie in its own right, it doesn’t quite fit into the conversation of the greatest Halloween movies of all time. In fact, we clearly wouldn’t even deem it worth of a place in the Top 10 for the franchise.
