Fans can’t wait to see the X-men arrive in the MCU and there is no denying Chloe Bailey would make an amazing Storm, as evident by this stunning new art.

The anticipation among fans for the X-Men’s arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe shows no signs of slowing down as fans continue to await news from Marvel regarding their plans for the X-Men’s vast catalog of heroes.

While there are so many amazing characters fans are eager to see, one many are eager to see enter the MCU is Storm.

Storm, the iconic weather-manipulating mutant, has captured the hearts of comic book enthusiasts for decades. Her regal demeanor, fierce powers, and complex backstory have made her an integral part of the X-Men mythology.

Unfortunately, she’s not had the best track record when it’s come to big-screen adaptations of the character. While Halle Berry’s Storm is iconic, there was so much wasted potential in the 20th Century films. And with the X-Men finally coming back to Marvel Studios, fans are hopeful the character might finally get the justice she deserves with a live-action adaption that lives up to the character’s rich comic roots.

The prospect of seeing Storm’s elemental abilities brought to life with cutting-edge special effects is an exciting thought. Fans are ready to witness her commanding presence, summoning storms and harnessing the forces of nature in breathtaking sequences on the big screen. They crave a portrayal that delves into the nuances of her character, exploring her African heritage, her leadership qualities, and the intricate dynamics of her relationships with other mutants which were never fully explored in the previous X-Men movies.

What Chloe Bailey could look like as Storm

There are many amazing actresses who fans have already expressed interest in seeing play Storm within the MCU when Marvel finally decides to bring the X-Men into the mix. Among those whose name has been tossed into the mix is actress and singer Chloe Bailey, and it’s not at all hard to see why fans think she’d be a perfect pick to play Storm after getting a look at a stunning new piece of concept art envisioning Bailey in the role of Storm.

In a new piece of fan art by digital artist Dan “cap.ironwidow,” the artist transforms Bailey into Marvel’s iconic hero in a piece of concept art that is truly breathtaking.

Drawing inspiration from Storm’s Uncanny X-Men costume, Bailey exudes power and elegance donning the character’s sleek black bodysuit with intricate golden trim.

Tying the look together is the flowing cape that cascades down her back, symbolizing Storm’s regal nature, thigh-high boots, and a vibrant “X” symbol emblazoned across her chest added a bold touch, showcasing her affiliation with the X-Men. And, of course, no Storm art would be complete without capturing the character’s iconic white locks which are complimented by her subtle black headdress.

Chloe Bailey wants to play Storm in the MCU

Not only would Chloe Bailey make an amazing Storm, but it just so happens that Storm is the one superhero character Bailey dreams of someday playing! That’s right, should Marvel come calling, Bailey would jump at the chance to play Storm!

In an interview with E! News, Bailey revealed that she has always hoped to play a superhero and the dream role for her would be playing Storm, who she called one of her favorite characters.

"“That’s always been a huge dream of mine,” Bailey exclusively told E! News. “I’ve always wanted to be a superhero and I would love to do the stunts and the training and everything like that. It would just be a dream come true to be honest. [Storm’s] one of my favorites. She is my favorite. I would really, really love that.”"

There is no denying that Bailey would make an incredible Storm and, as history has shown, casting an actor who is passionate about the role and a fan helps immensely in translating them from the pages of the comics to the big screen. Let’s hope whenever the day comes to start casting for the X-Men in the MCU, Bailey will end up on Marvel’s radar.
