Chris Pratt’s return to the MCU was teased at the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and he’s back in action in this stunning Legendary Star-Lord poster.

The shifting sands of the superhero universe hold the promise of exciting new horizons. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 marks the end of an era as James Gunn bids adieu to the MCU.

Known for his indelible contribution to the three Guardians movies, Gunn has left a legacy that fans and critics will look back upon with fondness. His unique vision has shaped and colored the MCU with hues of passion and wit. However, there’s no time for nostalgia as Gunn is transitioning towards his exciting role as the co-head of DC Studios. His ambitious plans span various media including film, television, and video games, all leading up to the crescendo – a Superman movie he’s both writing and directing.

Chris Pratt, the charismatic actor behind Star-Lord’s helmet in the Guardians trilogy, has been open about his desire to continue playing the character, despite Gunn’s exit. In a candid interview with Rolling Stone, Pratt reflected on the prospects of reprising his role:

"“Now if you’re saying to me, Chris Pratt the actor, do I want to reprise my role as Peter Quill and is there mileage left in the character and do I have the bandwidth or headspace for that? I do. I’d be interested in playing the character again,” he affirmed."

It seems that despite the change in directorial vision, Pratt’s commitment to embodying the roguish charm of Star-Lord remains steadfast.

As fans eagerly await more interstellar exploits from Pratt, some have been busy imagining what his next adventure would look like.

Chris Pratt returns as Star-Lord in Guardians fan poster

Agt Design stuns yet again with a beautiful new fan-made poster titled Legendary Star-Lord, which happens to be the name of the comic book series depicting Quill’s solo adventures, featuring Chris Pratt reprising his role as the intergalactic hero, Star-Lord.

This poster, showcasing Star-Lord in an otherworldly setting, focuses on Star-Lord alone rather than including other members of the Guardians. It’s a nod to the ending of Guardians 3, with Quill returning to Earth to spend time with the only family member he’s got left and hints at the enthusiasm fans have for a solo journey that Star-Lord could undertake once he has had his time on Earth.

Star-Lord, the charming and somewhat unorthodox leader of the Guardians, has been embraced by fans for his heroism and quirky personality. This fan-created image suggests a deep desire among the audience to delve into his character and his unique backstory.

While the precise details of any potential solo Star-Lord film remain inexistent, the excitement behind the possibility of there being one is palpable among fans. With Star-Lord’s cosmic background and connection to many different realms, one can only imagine the sheer amount of exciting possibilities for new corners of the MCU.

Fan theories are already running rampant, speculating on what a Star-Lord solo venture could entail and what new challenges he could face. Regardless of the conjecture, one thing is clear: with the circulation of this fan art, anticipation for a Star-Lord-centric story is growing.

Once again, it’s evident that Marvel fans are ever-so-ready to explore new dimensions of comic book storytelling.
