Lili Reinhart

Lili Reinhart became an overnight sensation along with the rest of the Riverdale cast when the CW show found global success on Netflix. That means that her performances were watched by a much larger audience than anyone on the US TV network could have imagined. Reinhart didn’t crumble under the pressure, as she went on to become one of Riverdale‘s strongest and most consistent performers.

Betty Cooper is one of the most nuanced characters on Riverdale. She has overcome a lot of adversity throughout her seven seasons on the show and Reinhart has portrayed all of that with ease, even making some of the more outlandish storylines seem remotely believable on the strength of her performance. And these are qualities that she has brought to her other roles as well; qualities that would be necessary for bringing a character the level of Kara Zor-El to life.

If James Gunn and Peter Safran are looking for someone capable of playing larger-than-life comic book characters, Lili Reinhart would be an outstanding choice. She has made Betty Cooper relevant for a whole new generation and is one of the most reliable performers in Hollywood.

She also happens to be finishing up her seven season run on Riverdale, so now might be the time to give her a call.
