4. Our introduction to Sonya Falsworth

Not long after returning to the planet and getting briefed by Talos and Hill on the Skrull rebellion, Fury decides to go for a walk on the streets of Moscow. He gets grabbed by some men, thrown into a van, and brought to the headquarters of Sonya Falsworth, an MI6 agent and old friend of his who has also been keeping tabs on the Skrull Invasion.

While the two catch up and discuss the oncoming conflict, Sonya tells him bluntly that he’s unprepared for the fight ahead of them and that he should return to S.A.B.E.R. While she may be right about Fury not being at a hundred percent, he still has a few tricks considering he got captured on purpose and used the opportunity to covertly hide a secret camera in her office that would give him and his team important information later on.

Unlike Fury, Sonya seems less concerned with protecting innocent Skrulls and more focused on simply dealing with the species as a whole, which will definitely continue to put her at odds with him as the story progresses. Their banter made for some fascinating and funny dialogue, so we look forward to seeing more of their interactions in future episodes.
