6. Tyler Posey

This might feel a bit on the nose if you will, but considering Tyler Posey has actually played a bitten werewolf, we can’t help but think has what it takes to be Beast in the X-Men. In fact, it is his role in MTV’s Teen Wolf that makes us think he could handle being a mutant with abilities that set him apart from others.

As Beast, he needs to bring both vulnerability and power. This is a character who is known for his agility, endurance, super strength, and speed. So when it comes to the actor who will be taking on the role, we want someone who can make us believe in their ability to give these gifts life on screen.

As Scott in Teen Wolf, he took on supernatural threats to his town, was gifted with enhanced physical abilities, and of course added aggression. These are things that Posey did in such a way that we really did believe he was this character. And that’s what we want from any actor that steps into the role of Beast.

Considering how iconic the character is, we need someone who has proven that they can handle being a leader and that is something Tyler Posey has already shown us. Plus, it certainly helps that at 31 years old, he is old enough to bring maturity to the role and young enough that he can grow and evolve with a potential franchise as part of the MCU.
