Marvel: 6 actors we want to see play Iceman in the MCU

2. Connor Jessup

Thanks to Locke and Key, Connor Jessup is on our radar for a lot of things. And the fact that he was also in the science-fiction series Falling Skies just adds to that idea.

Whether it was fantasy or science fiction, Jessup was able to bring something interesting to these two series, including a sense of adventure. Especially with Locke and Key, we got to see him explore the world in a way that was fascinating.

It just feels like he has already showcased an ability to be part of a team while dealing with external forces looking to basically ruin the world. He has showcased the ability to bring nuance to a character and also be wrong.

One thing it would be nice to see with a reboot of the X-Men is actors that are not as well known getting a chance to shine. And that is Connor Jessup. While has an interesting resume, it’s not one that everyone will know. Stepping into a role like Bobby Drake would be a fabulous boost to his career as he would be able to make the hero his own, while also bringing his charm, humor, and even that bit of swagger that he seemed to have throughout Locke and Key.

It would be interesting to see him stepping into the MCU as a member of the X-Men and it would definitely take him to a whole new level in his career.
