When you think of the best TV shows of all time, HBO might have the majority of the top spots. Sure, we’ve gotten huge, influential series like Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and The Office from different networks, but with shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, and so many others, the cable company has an incredibly stacked lineup of critically acclaimed titles.

There’s no denying HBO has created some of the most impactful shows and movies of the past few decades, including dramas, documentaries, unscripted titles, talk shows, and even children’s series. Though not every single show has been a hit, more times than not they’re worth the watch.

Whether you love watching the battles out in Westeros in Game of Thrones or would rather laugh until you cry while tuning in to Curb Your Enthusiasm, HBO truly has something for everyone. It’s prestige television at its finest, and it’s not surprising that many TV lovers trust HBO more than any other network. If it’s on HBO, it’ll most likely be worth checking out.
