The 5 best (and 3 worst) episodes of Stranger Things

Netflix’s biggest show ever, Stranger Things, debuted in 2016 and totally changed the game for the streaming platform. The television phenomenon caters to all different ages, blending elements of sci-fi, drama, comedy, and even some horror. The characters in the series are so fantastic, it’s impossible not to root for them while you’re on the edge of your seat waiting to see what’ll happen next. The mega-hit, created by Ross and Matt Duffer, is one of the best shows currently on.

Stranger Things follows a group of kids living in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, when one of their friends, Will Byers, goes missing. While they try to put the pieces together of what might’ve happened to him, they meet a mysterious girl without a name or a home. She’s like an alien, and one character in particular, Mike, takes a liking to her. As they discover more about the girl, who they name Eleven, they realize she has the power to find Will. And she can do much more than that.

The best and worst episodes of Stranger Things

The beloved series is four seasons down now, with a fifth and final installment on the way. With the current WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes ongoing, however, we’re really not sure when we’ll be seeing Stranger Things return. So while we wait for any updates on the series, let’s take a look back at the episodes we’ve seen and discuss which are the best and which, unfortunately, are the worst.
