4. Evan Peters

One of the greatest inception moments of the MCU (for me) was when Evan Peters showed up on WandaVision as Pietro Maximoff. Considering he had already portrayed the character of Quicksilver in the non-MCU X-Men movies, for him to show up in an MCU portrayal of the same character was sheer perfection.

It was also a chance to see how he would interact with the character’s sister and he did it brilliantly. Obviously, this MCU portrayal of Quicksilver wasn’t at the same level as an X-Men movie or with the same gravity of an Avengers movie, but it was still done perfectly for the storyline being told.

And it was also a reminder that when it comes to versatile actors, Evan Peters knows what he is doing. The fact that he has already technically donned the mantle of Quicksilver in the MCU also means that it would actually make perfect sense for him to show up as the MCU’s X-Men version of the Silver Speedster. It would actually bring the character full circle in a lot of ways and it would be a chance to prove that maybe what happened in WandaVision has even bigger implications for the MCU than anyone imagined.

Peters has repeatedly proven that he can take on any role and fully make it his own. And the MCU would benefit greatly from keeping him as a member of the X-Men.
