X-Men: 6 actors we want to see play Gambit in the MCU
2. Brenton Thwaites
He may have been part of the DCEU as the leader of the Titans, but it never really felt like Brenton Thwaites was ever really given enough room to shine. That being said, he was a brilliant Dick Grayson and that ability to be a leader and a hero is everything we want in a member of the X-Men. At the same time, he has the lady’s man charm and suave manner that we want in our future Remy LeBeau.
In fact, we have to admit that there were a lot of moments during Titans where Thwaites made it clear that he was not just superhero material, but also someone who could pull off being a bad guy well. And while we wouldn’t call Gambit a bad guy necessarily, he definitely had his shady moments. All of this is to say that Brenton Thwaites has the potential to be a brilliant addition to the MCU’s X-Men if given half the chance.
As Remy LeBeau, we could easily see the actor bring his charm, swagger, and whit to the big screen. And since he has already been part of not only the world of comic superheroes but also a team-up effort, Thwaites absolutely knows the ins and outs of what it takes to bring these stories to life.
There is no doubt that the actor could bring the sarcasm and grit we want to the X-Men and the role of Gambit might just be the perfect choice for him. And honestly, it might also be a chance for people to see just how good of an actor Brenton Thwaites can be.
