8. “The Very Pulse of the Machine”

After a mission to one of Jupiter’s moons goes spectacularly sideways, our lone crew member finds herself on a wild, unexpected space road trip. Talk about PTSD  – having to drag your fellow crew member’s corpse around as you yourself are running out of oxygen and becoming dangerously delirious. Or are you?

“The Very Pulse of the Machine” isn’t just about dodging space debris and rationing freeze-dried ice cream. It gets deep. As the journey pushes her to her breaking point, she starts having insanely mind-blowing revelations about life, the universe, and, well, everything. In the blink of an eye, this story becomes less about her desperately trying to get to her shuttle and getting home, and more about understanding what “home” even means at this point.

7. “Good Hunting”

Dive into the mesmerizing world of Asian legends with “Good Hunting,” where we meet young Liang and the enchanting Huli Jing (shapeshifters who can present themselves in human form), Tsiao-Jung.

Imagine a creature that can shift into an ethereal and majestic fox at will. As we drift through the streets and lifestyles of early 1900s China, Liang is busy picking up spirit-catching tricks from his dad, Renshu. But, when the chase is on for Tsiao-Jung, Liang gets lost in her spellbinding beauty and grace.

The outcome? A gut-punch moment where viewers are left heartbroken yet thankful for witnessing such a beautiful and touching tale.
