Charlie’s Angels movies ranked

Charlie’s Angels got it start on the small screen with a television series that ran for five seasons from 1976 to 1981 with Farrah Fawcett as Jill Munroe, Kate Jackson as Sabrina Duncan, and Jaclyn Smith as Kelly Grant rounding out the leading crimefighting trio. The series followed the three women who were part of a private detective agency based in Los Angeles following orders from a mysterious man named Charlie Townsend, voiced by John Forsythe, who communicated with the women over a speakerphone.

Although the classic series reached top 10 status on the Nielen ratings with its first two seasons, the show began to lose popularity after the third season resulting in overall mixed reviews and criticism for its highly sexual emphasis of the women in the series.

Still, it’s safe to say that Charlie’s Angels gained a huge cult and pop culture following over the years to come as the interest in Charlie’s Angels peaked again in the early 2000s with the first live-action feature film.

A total of three Charlie’s Angels movies have been released so far and though they aren’t groundbreaking cinema by any means they also have garnered a huge following and some entries were better than others in my opinion. Let’s break down the films from worst to best.
