4. Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot’s portrayal as Wonder Woman breathed new life into a character that, let’s admit it, could sometimes be a bit yawn-worthy. Yeah, I’m saying it: Wonder Woman, the darling of the DC world, might have some issues. Sure, she’s the embodiment of goodness, strength, unwavering resolve, and courage, but come on, it’s not that hard when you’re drop-dead gorgeous, armed to the teeth, and oh yeah, a full-blown god.

Here’s the kicker – she’s got no real Achilles’ heel. Unlike Superman with his Kryptonite vulnerability, Wonder Woman’s basically a walking fortress. And don’t get me started on the big bads she faces. DC tries to sell us on these supposedly menacing foes. We all know the truth, none of them are in the same weight class as the Amazonian goddess. It’s like pitting a goldfish against a shark – we all know how that’s gonna end.

Now, don’t get me wrong. Gadot’s portrayal is a ray of sunshine in the DC universe, and she’s brought depth to a character that desperately needed it. But let’s not pretend Wonder Woman’s flawless. She might have her Lasso of Truth, but the truth is, she’s not without her flaws, starting with that overwhelming aura of perfection.
