6. Hawkman

Hawkman, oh boy, he’s like the poster child for complex and confusing origin stories, and let’s be real, that’s enough to make anyone’s head spin. It’s like DC wanted to see how many reboots they could throw at this guy and still keep us guessing. No wonder he’s one of the most-hated characters; trying to figure out his background is like trying to assemble a jigsaw puzzle in the dark.

Here’s the thing, underneath all that chaotic backstory lies the potential for an amazing character. Seriously, Hawkman’s got the goods to be a real standout, if only we could get a grip on who he is. It’s like having a golden ticket to the chocolate factory but not knowing which candy’s yours.

Speaking of things that leave a sour taste, can we talk about Hawkman’s obsession with Hawkgirl? Dude, give the girl some space! He keeps swooping in like a possessive ex who just can’t let go. It’s like he’s got a mental GPS that leads him right back to her doorstep, no matter how many times she changes the locks.

Remember when he came in the Justice League cartoon and messed up everything between Green Lantern and Hawkgirl? Yeah, nobody likes a homewrecker. Hawkman’s “you’re mine” attitude is not exactly winning him points in the popularity contest. That’s why he’s on the list.
