8. Resident Evil: Vendetta

The T-virus hits New York! In this third CG film, Resident Evil: Vendetta we see fan service done right for Leon fanatics. This entry was very popular amongst fans of the series. It features Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Rebecca Chambers taking on the infected in New York City.

Although it has a cherished space with fans, it wasn’t a huge critical success. The movie has many issues including its pacing with the story and the the poorly written script really hurt this film’s chances of being a big hit.

Again the voice acting is not up to par with other major animation studios’s films. The voice actors here do their best with the material given to them so to speak. Voice acting can really help an animated feature or break it. In this case with the horrible script and plot pacing the voice acting was just too weak to carry the film on it’s own.

Vendetta does have some great moments underneath its averageness. The action sequences are enough to put a smile on the face of any fan of the genre and it’s great that the Resident Evil franchise takes time to create these animated features for the fans.
