4. Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

In the eyes of many Ninja Mutant Ninja Turtles fans, Michael Bay bastardized characters they loved. This writer disagrees. Megan Fox had no business playing April O’Neil and she definitely shouldn’t have been the focus of the movie. Nevertheless, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo weren’t bad.

The turtles were like their comic book, cartoon, and previous movie counterparts. Even the most hardcore TMNT fan has to admit that. Whenever they were on screen, it was entertaining. It’s one of the reasons the second movie was better than the first. Do what this writer does, watch them and skip the scenes they aren’t in.

3. Tom Hardy in The Dark Knight Rises

People detest Bane’s voice and rightfully so. It was an odd choice. Except, Tom Hardy had people talking about it. So much so that it’s used in Harley Quinn on Max. He accomplished something. His performance became unforgettable. Also, despite the voice, Tom Hardy rocked as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

The biggest part of Bane’s comic book character is his dominance. He doesn’t just beat Batman. He breaks him physically and emotionally. Hardy’s Bane did that. He broke Batman’s body and then his spirit. It should also be noted that Bane had more than a couple of memorable scenes throughout this movie. That’s why Bane’s voice shouldn’t be the end-all when it comes to his performance in The Dark Knight Rises.
