In episode 4, Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren went up against Marrok and Shin Hati. Soon after the battle begins, Tano kills Marrok. Wren tells her to go after the map while she (Wren) takes on her adversary. Before she can get it, Ahsoka has to battle Baylan Skoll.

Throughout their battle, Ahsoka had a look of confidence on her face. She wasn’t overestimating her opponent, just sure of her skills. Our hero knocks Skoll down and stops the hyperspace ring from fixing on its intended location. However, Tano gets knocked off a cliff protecting Wren. Instead of destroying the map, Wren makes the decision to give it to Skoll so she can find Ezra.

Is Ahsoka dead? This writer would like to say no. However, Anakin’s presence raises questions. It’s possible that she’s on another plane of existence or having a vision. Her Jedi training makes both options possible. There are other reasons that may not be logical. In the world of Star Wars, anything is possible. For all we know, Ahsoka may remain in the show as a ghost that only Wren can see.

What happens with Wren will be big. Skoll may have given her his word, but that doesn’t mean much. Shin wants Wren dead and will kill her the first chance she gets. Plus, Lady Morgan Elsbeth won’t care about Skoll’s promise. She has other things in mind. As soon as Wren isn’t useful, she’ll order her execution.

Let’s also not forget that Hera Syndulla will have words with Wren if she sees her working with the Empire. Hera just saw friends die after she disobeyed an order from the Senate. Knowing that Wren is directly responsible could make her the enemy.
