Ahsoka episode 5 review: Shadow Warrior
Sabine is not the “new Jedi”
Sabine becoming a Jedi makes me so angry that my heart skips a few beats whenever anybody mentions that theory.
I am absolutely okay with her learning saber combat, as we saw her do a few episodes ago. The teasing of Force powers with that silly scene where she does what we’ve all done before, admit it – trying to Force pull the cup towards her – had me on the verge of an aneurysm.
Sabine is not Force-sensitive, and she should not acquire Force abilities as the show moves forward. They do promise a new Jedi, but it ain’t her.
It’s little baby boy Jacen.
You’d have to be not paying attention to miss this boy’s Force abilities. He found Ahsoka when nobody else could. He’s Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus’ son, for crying out loud – it’s inevitable that he will follow in his father’s footsteps. It would be amazing to see Ahsoka have him as a Padawan and see her instill a new Jedi Order along with him. Sabine can still take

lightsaber combat classes, but I refuse to accept that she’d be a Jedi. That would be entirely too much and completely forced (pun intended this time).
Well, all-in-all, I absolutely adored “Shadow Warrior”. It sets up a lot to be taken care of for the remainder of the show, and I am very excited to see where the Space Whales will lead us.
Don’t forget totune in to Disney+ every Tuesday night for a new episode of Ahsoka!
