12 Marvel Cinematic Universe moments that made no sense
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a juggernaut comprised of many different films and series, leading to some inconsistencies between all of its projects. So it’s time we take a look at the 12 most confusing MCU moments so far!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe consists of 32 films and 23 series (including the shows produced by Netflix), resulting in a total of 55 projects and counting. That’s a staggering amount of titles that are intricately connected between them, all sharing the same overarching story. However, you don’t craft a narrative as large as the MCU’s without making some mistakes along the way.
There have been numerous moments throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe that just don’t make any sense at all. They can either be thematic errors, arcs that are out of character, or a mismatch in terms of continuity. It doesn’t matter the case, we can’t deny the MCU isn’t without its failures.
The problem with having such a huge connected universe is that you can’t get away with things such as freezing a giant Celestial on Earth in the Eternals, and not expect audiences to ask what happened with it after it failed to be mentioned again in any other subsequent project.
Just like that example, many other moments left us with more questions rather than answers. So it’s time we take a look at 12 of the most confusing MCU moments so far and discuss what exactly made them such a mystery.
