6 Star Wars characters we’d bring back from the dead (and 4 we wouldn’t)
Mace Windu
There are many memorable deaths in the Star Wars prequels, one of which, unfortunately, being Mace Windu. The Jedi Master is one of our favorites due to his awesome skills and distinctive purple lightsaber. Who didn’t love Mace Windu growing up?
As a member of the Jedi Council, the character is considered one of the most powerful Jedi of his time, truly embodying the importance of the Jedi Code and the need to maintain balance in the galaxy.
There’s no denying how much of a badass Mace Windu is. He’s a fighter any opponent should be afraid of, as his unique combat style and dedication make him a force to be reckoned with. Because of this, he has given us some of the best action sequences in the Star Wars universe. And despite his unwavering commitment to the Jedi Code, he’s still willing to bend the rules, which makes him all the more complex.
Mace Windu might not be my favorite Star Wars character of all time, but he’s a pretty great one. That being said, his death is definitely a heartbreaking part of the prequels and I would totally bring him back if I could! Taking place in Revenge of the Sith, Mace Windu is killed after being attacked by Anakin Skywalker and thrown out a window by Palpatine/Darth Sidious’ Force lightning. The Jedi take a major loss when he dies.
It’s an epic way to go, but something Mace Windu does not deserve!
VERDICT: Bring back
